Andrew is a Policy Assistant at the European Foundation for Democracy. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Media and International Conflict from University College Dublin (Ireland), focusing on the United States, the Middle East and media framing. While obtaining his Bachelor degree in Politics, International Relations and History from UCD, Andrew participated in an exchange programme to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has a keen interest in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, particularly in areas of peacebuilding and community engagement. During his studies, Andrew investigated the impacts of the media on modern-day conflicts, researching the framing of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by third-party countries. During his studies in UCD, Andrew served as a member of the Irish Defence Forces.
