Charlotta is a Programme Manager at the European Foundation for Democracy. She has been involved in projects related to the prevention of youth radicalisation, disinformation and counter violent extremism (among others) since her start at the organisation. Charlotta graduated from the Master of European Studies – transnational and global perspectives – at KU Leuven University (Belgium) where she focused on EU external relations. Moreover, she achieved a Master of Science in Business and Economics at Linköping University (Sweden) and was awarded SIDA’s Minor Fields Studies scholarship to carry-out research in the Republic of Seychelles based on the blue economy concept and gender equality. She has a strong intercultural sensitivity throughout a total of five years living in the United Arab Emirates and two exchange semesters studying in Chile and Taiwan. Moreover, she is trilingual in Spanish, Swedish and English and she has a good command of French and basic Arabic and Chinese communication skills.
