Anna Borshchevskaya
Anna Borshchevskaya specialises in the politics of the Middle East, Russia and Eastern Europe. In addition to her research role at EFD, Anna has worked as Communications Director for the American Islamic Congress (AIC) in Washington. She was also Assistant Director of the Eurasia Center at the Atlantic Council and an Analyst for Glevum Associates, where she conducted public opinion research in Afghanistan on behalf of the US Military. Anna has also worked as an Analyst for the Peterson Institute for International Economics, and has held positions at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), the Swiss Foundation for World Affairs and the International Organisation for Migration. Her articles on Russia and the Middle East have appeared in publications such as the Washington Post, Forbes, National Review, FoxNews, CNN and The Middle East Quarterly. She provides regular analysis for the Foreign Military Studies Office at Fort Leavenworth’s Operational Environment Watch.
