Anna Maria Cossiga

Anna Maria Cossiga is a cultural anthropologist and geopolitician, focusing on cultural and religious identity. She was a professor of Cultural Anthropology and Geopolitics in several Italian Universities. She currently researches and advises on jihadism and political violent extremism. She was a member of the Governmental Commission on the Study of Jihadi Radicalisation in Italy and has been a consultant on the subject for the Italian Government. She is currently a senior analyst at the European Foundation for Democracy.
