Davide Lauretta is a Policy Assistant at the European Foundation for Democracy. He graduated with a Master's degree in International Relations at the University of Roma Tre (Italy), focusing on peace, war and security issues. He has a deep interest in sociopathy studies and psychological traits underlying radicalisation processes, and he holds certifications in 'Neuroscience applied to Security' and 'Hostage Negotiation' from the École Universitaire Internationale. As an analyst in the area of terrorism, he is also involved in research activities on Jihad financing and Islamic banking in collaboration with study centres and diverse associations.
