Sara Senno

Sara Senno is Programme Manager at the European Foundation for Democracy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, a BA in Administration and Security Sciences from the University of Rome - Unitelma Sapienza, and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Rome - Roma Tre. Her research interests lie in Islamist violent extremism and radicalisation with a particular focus on the Mediterranean basin, terrorist financing, and terrorism and radicalisation in the cyberspace. She has written, among others, for the University of Buckingham, CASD (Italian Centre for Defense Higher Studies), FrancoAngeli and Africa Rivista.
