Lunch Briefing on migration and integration with front-line practitioners

26.06.2018

On Tuesday, 26 June 2018, the European Foundation for Democracy and the European office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung co-hosted a closed-door lunch briefing with front-line practitioners with extensive experience on migration, refugees and integration policies in different European countries to discuss the common challenges in the integration of refugees.

Speakers included Sarah Affani, (SINGA - France), Mohammed Khattab, (Interface - Austria), Åsa Hedberg, (County Administrative Board of Östergötland - Sweden), Benedict Göbel (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung - Germany), Araa Al Jamarani (Syrian Women in The Netherlands – The Netherlands) and Michala Clante Bendixen (Refugees Welcome - Denmark).

The aim was to share examples of good practices arising from grass-root experiences at national level and to discuss the feasibility of replicating them in other EU countries.
