Addressing Radicalisation: lessons learned from counter – and alternative narrative campaigns

On 17 May 2017, the European Foundation for Democracy (EFD) in cooperation with the European Policy Centre (EPC) and the Counter Extremism Project (CEP), hosted an event on how to address jihadist radicalization through the implementation of alternative and counter-narratives. Throughout the discussion, the panel discussed different opportunities and the challenges for civil society organizations (CSOs) that are working on these issues.

The guest speakers included: Stéphane Lacombe, Deputy Director of Association française des Victimes du Terrorisme; Alexandra Antoniadis, Head of Sector, DG Migration and Home Affairs; EFD Senior Policy Advisor Alexander Ritzmann, and EPC Senior Policy Analyst Amanda Paul (Moderator).
