What is democracy and how can citizens have an impact and play a role in the policy-making of their country by casting their votes? Elections, whether parliamentary or presidential, represent a significant although not exclusive aspect of a democratic system. Central to the legitimacy of electoral results is the level of citizen participation in the electoral process.
The conference will bring together experts and high-level political representatives from Europe, the United States, Russia and Armenia.
