Key drivers of radicalisation – perspectives from the Balkans, the Arabian Gulf and Belgium

On Tuesday, 27 November The European Foundation for Democracy in cooperation with TRENDS Research and Advisory organised a panel discussion, hosted by MEP Tunne Kelam (EPP/EE) on understanding the key drivers of radicalisation that can lead to violent extremism.

Experts from the Balkans, the Arabian Gulf and Belgium shared their experiences from the ground and highlight good – and bad – practices that they have encountered and offered recommendations to EU policy makers on the best ways of identifying these drivers and provide solutions for addressing their impact.
