Kremlin propaganda: how does it interplay with far right politics in Europe?

On 22nd June the European Foundation for Democracy hosted a policy briefing entitled: “Kremlin propaganda: how does it interplay with far right politics in Europe?”. The guest speaker was Dr. Péter Krekó, Director of the Political Capital Institute, a think-tank based in Budapest that is undertaking an extensive research study on the pro-Putin stance of radical left-wing and right-wing parties in Europe and the institutional channels of Russian influence. He has published articles on this issue in Foreign Affairs, Newsweek, OpenDemocracy and EU Observer, among others.
