Strengthening efforts of values-based approaches to integration of refugees

A group of nine refugee support organisations from Austria, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands met in Brussels on 18th and 19th October, for a two -day workshop organised by the European Foundation for Democracy to discuss good and bad practices in values-based integration policies in the different countries.

A number of group activities were organised:

1. 1. to discuss the meaning and fundamentals of values-based integration
   2. train participants on how best to translate this into policies and practices
   3. how to communicate both online and in-person with different stakeholders on the importance of liberal democratic values within the integration framework
