The 10th Mühlheimer Near East Conference on 19-20 September 2009 is organised by the Catholic Academy Essen, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Institute for Theology and Peace Hamburg. This years' conference is entitled: “Iran's Theocracy: 30 Years after the "Iranian Revolution”.EFD Senior Fellow Dr. Wahied Wahdat-Hagh joins other renowned experts on Iran like Prof. Dr. Henner Fürtig, German Institute of Global and Area-Studies GIGA; Dr. Silvia Tellenbach, Lawyer, Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law; Dr. Katajun Amirpur, commentator and author as well as Peter Philipp, former chief correspondent of Germany’s international broadcaster “Deutsche Welle”. Wahied Wahdat-Hagh is presenting his speech on “Religious Freedom? The situation of Christians and Baha‘i in Iran”.
