All the ambiguities on the Muslim Brotherhood in Milan

EFD Senior Fellow Dr. Valentina Colombo helps clarify all the ambiguities surrounding the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood, with the Municipal elections of Milan just about to end, where the favored Democratic Party listed Sumaya Abdel Qader as one of its nominees.

Abdel Qader posted on her blog that 'some ideas are current, while others have been surpassed' referring to the ideology promoted by Hasan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

It would be interesting to know, writes Colombo, to what ideas she is referring to, as so many of Hasan al- Banna's thoughts were aimed at promoting his project of having more influence on the political institutions.
