Anti-Semitism today: present in the left, the right, and the middle of society
Following a rise in anti-Semitic incidents in connection with the Gaza conflict in Summer 2014, Ahmad Mansour is interviewed on Bayerischer Rundfunk radio about anti-Semitism in Germany's Muslim community. Ahmad states that anti-Semitism forms part of a child's upbringing in some Muslim families. He also states that anti-Semitic narratives are often used by extremists to establish a clear enemy figure -- something which can very appealing to young Muslims at a time when, in Syria and Iraq, Muslims are fighting against each other.
