EU-wide condemnation of Bastille Day terrorist attacks in Nice

EFD Executive Director Roberta Bonazzi is interviewed by The Parliament Magazine on the terror attack which occurred in the French city of Nice.

“While the identity of the perpetrators is not yet publicly known, the target of the terrorist attack is symbolic: France on Bastille Day. It is also a stark reminder of the vulnerability of our open societies. The modus operandi is different from what have been seen so far in Europe. A truck was used to kill dozens as opposed to much more complex operations involving heavy weapons and explosives."
