Fighting violent extremism in Belgium

EFD Executive Director Roberta Bonazzi is interviewed by MSNBN to discuss the attacks in Brussels on 22 March and how Belgium should react to tackle violent extremism.

In the interview, Bonazzi advocates that authorities must work together and devise a comprehensive approach to address the growing problem of jihadi radicalisation in Belgium and the rest of Europe. This includes not only enhancing security services and information sharing but also the training of teachers and social workers to address this threat and to prevent such attacks from taking place in the future.
