I am underway to win over Muslims

This article, from the Swiss magazine aufbruch, reports on EFD Programme Director Ahmad Mansour’s speech regarding the issue of radicalisation amongst German youth. Mansour spoke at the 2016 Symposium on Intergation in Basel. He urged for a change of thinking when it comes to preventing the spreading of Islamist ideology. Rather than increasing the fear of Islam, it would be more helpful to spread positive statements about equality. For example, Mansour suggested addressing the issue of sexuality within Islam, often labelled as a taboo by the Salafists.
