Conspiracy is rife in certain sections of Iranian society when it comes to issues such as Israel, the US, and homosexuality. Sadly, mainstream media outlets also play their part.

The ideologues of the Islamic regime in Iran know all too well how to use external enemies to persecute enemies of the regime closer to home. According to those in power, the Jews, the Israelis, the West and the United States are the causes of Iran’s domestic problems. Furthermore, the West is considered as the root cause of homosexuality, which of course implies that homosexuality has not existed in Iran and the Arab world for thousands of years. In this regard, anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism are the tools that the Islamist rulers of Iran use to legitimise the execution of homosexuals.

The ruling Islamists in Iran not only treat homosexuals with prejudice and disdain, but go so far as to execute those convicted of homosexuality – just as in Nazi Germany. While one may disapprove of homosexuality, Europeans cannot remain silent while a United Nations member state executes homosexuals in the 21^st Century and legitimates these executions with anti-Semitic and anti-American propaganda.

The Iranian news agency Mashregh News, an organisation with close ties to the Revolutionary Guard, recently published an article entitled, “Open and covert dimensions of homosexuality.”

Anti-American and anti-Semitic homophobia

Mashregh News writes that Western culture, particularly that of the U.S. and Britain, with the help of Jews, spread homosexuality among their own people and among other nations.

The newspaper asks why the British government supports homosexuality even though homosexuals play a minor role in its society. For its answer, Mashregh News turns to conspiracy theories. “For example, in England, only 1.5 percent of the population is homosexual. The official recognition of this minority is not adequate to their power and influence on the politics and society of that country.”

The author of the article then asks why homosexuals have received government support in the even though they are politically insignificant. He ponders how the British government benefits from supporting homosexuals, which he says is part of the “general strategy of Western cultures.” Otherwise, he asks, why would both conservative British politician David Cameron and liberal US President Barack Obama defend homosexuals?

Mashregh News writes that in England, gay marriage has been recognised since 2004 and that gay marriage will become entirely legal by 2015. In addition, the author of the article stresses that CNN reported that in the US 53 percent of the population is for the legalisation of gay marriage.

According to the Islamist Iranian newspaper homosexuality is “villainous” and the “European and American apparatuses want to normalise something that is abominable.”

The author complains that Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates, both high-profile Microsoft executives, donated $100,000 each in support of gay marriage. He asserts that Ballmer and Gates seek to shape the Internet as a forum for the dissemination of homosexuality.

He further laments that in England, the United States and in Canada “Jewish capitalists award international literature prizes for pieces on homosexuality,” referring to the Dayne Ogilvie prize in Canada and the Lambada prize in the US. The author of the article expresses outrage that in some European countries and Japan there are film festivals celebrating homosexuality and that the heroes in Hollywood movies are often gay. As far as Mashregh News, the only goal all of this servies is to spread homosexuality worldwide.

The newspaper complains that before his election in 2008 that Barack Obama had promised to give homosexuals more freedom. Since then, President Obama has even abolished the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, which prohibited homosexuals in the military from openly practicing and discussing their sexuality − a move Mashregh News asserts was only made in order to better his chances of his reelection in 2012.

It is also claimed that homosexuality will be taught at schools in California. On the “initiative of a Jewish university in California, homosexuality is to be taught in school textbooks”, with the university writing these textbooks. The author claims that such education would be compulsory for all students in California.

 “Again, the Jews are playing a role”

The newspaper writes: “Like other heinous crimes that people fall victim to, in this case Jewish capital and people are propagating the creation of a culture of homosexuality. The focus is on three fields: the arts, culture and political propaganda. One such activity is the awarding of prizes to writers who cover topics such as homosexuality and socio-political solidarity with the Zionist regime.” Homosexuals are apparently helping Israel to spread this propaganda in European countries. Furthermore, it is stated that Tel Aviv is apparently the most popular city for homosexuals in the world.

Mashregh News writes: “The Zionist regime is a promoter of homosexuality and organises demonstrations by homosexuals in different countries.” It cites Michael Oren, the Israeli ambassador to the United States as saying that “Israel is a paradise for homosexuals.”

According to the newspaper, one of the “diabolical objectives of the global hegemonic power (the US) is to subjugate people.”  The United States apparently uses all its power to “change the nature of human beings, to create a deformed creature without soul and spirit. These creatures will not be able to protest and shall be tamed. This is not possible without the destruction of family structures.” It is quite ironic that a fanatically religious newspaper affiliated with the Islamist Revolutionary Guard is suggesting that the US government wants to tame its people.

Mashregh News argues that homosexuals are essentially submissive people who “are serving the inhuman cultural and political system of the West to the best of their ability.” The newspaper writes, “The new world order is trying to reeducate and tame everyone.  These people are to have no inclination for resistance whatsoever.”

Mashregh News writes, “Politicians who support gays and homosexuals themselves make it clear that a long-term and very clear plan exists to create submissive, docile people.”

The “evil system” of the West not only spreads homosexuality, but also feminism and pornography. The article ends with the following sentence: “Many experts believe that the US government is spreading homosexuality for the purpose of population control in the US and around the world. The aim is to reduce the number of marriages and destroy the birth rate in US and other countries.”

It sounds absurd that an Iranian newspaper is accusing the US government of spreading homosexuality for the purpose of population control. This type of hate-based propaganda fits the range of the other conspiracy theories of the Iranian Islamists. We must remember, for example, that with the help of cartoons Iran incited Non-Aligned states with anti-Semitic and anti-American hate propaganda.

Der Westen wird dasselbe Schicksal erleiden wie Sodom

Die Ideologen des islamistischen Regimes im Iran wissen sehr genau, wie sie Feindbilder von außen einsetzen, um ihre Feindbilder nach innen zu bekämpfen. Die Juden, die Israelis, der Westen, die USA werden verteufelt und das westliche System wird als die Ursache der Homosexualität betrachtet, als ob es nicht auch im Iran und in der arabischen Welt seit Jahrtausenden Homosexualität geben würde. Der Antiamerikanismus und der Antisemitismus dienen den islamistischen Machthabern des Iran vor allem zur Legitimierung der Hinrichtung von Homosexuellen.

Im von Islamisten beherrschten Iran werden Menschen mit homosexueller Neigung nicht nur mit Vorurteil oder Verachtung behandelt, sie werden auch hingerichtet, ähnlich wie im nationalsozialistischen Deutschland. Ein religiöser Mensch oder ein Atheist mag die Homosexualität ablehnen, aber darf Europa schweigen, wenn im 21. Jahrhundert ein Staat Homosexuelle hinrichtet und ihre Hinrichtung mit antisemitischer und antiamerikanischer Propaganda verbrämt?

Das ist mehr als Schwarz-Weiß-Malerei, wenn die iranische Nachrichtenagentur Mashreghnews, die sehr eng mit den Revolutionsgardisten verbunden ist, im Titel eines Hetzartikels von den “offenen und verdeckten Dimensionen der Homosexualität” schreibt.

Die antiamerikanisch und antisemitisch legitimierte Homophobie
Mashreghnews schreibt, dass die westlichen Systeme insbesondere die USA und England mit Hilfe von jüdischem Kapital und Humankapital die Homosexualität unter ihren eigenen Völkern und unter anderen Völkern verbreiten.

Die Zeitung fragt, warum denn die Homosexualität in England unterstützt werde, obwohl sie dort gesellschaftlich eine geringe Rolle spiele. Aus dieser Fragestellung bastelt Mashreghnews eine Verschwörungstheorie: “Beispielsweise sind in England nur 1,5 Prozent der Bevölkerung homosexuell. Die offizielle Anerkennung dieser Minderheit steht in keinem Verhältnis zu ihrer Macht und ihrem Einfluss auf die Politik und Gesellschaft des Landes.”

Der Autor fragt, warum in England die Homosexuellen staatliche Unterstützung bekommen, obwohl sie machtpolitisch unbedeutend seien. Er fragt, welchen Nutzen denn der britische Staat von der Unterstützung der Homosexuellen habe und liefert selbst die Antwort, dass eine solche Unterstützung inzwischen ein Teil der “allgemeinen Strategie der westlichen Systeme sei.” Deswegen würden sowohl der konservative britische Politiker David Cameron als auch der demokratische Präsident der USA Barack Obama die Homosexuellen verteidigen.

Mashreghnews schreibt, dass in England seit 2004 die homosexuelle Ehe anerkannt werde und bis 2015 solle dort die homosexuelle Ehe gänzlich legal werden. Zudem habe CNN berichtet, dass in den USA 53 Prozent der Bevölkerung die Homosexualität legalisieren wollen.

Für die islamistische iranische Zeitung ist die Homosexualität eine “niederträchtige” Angelegenheit und der “europäische und amerikanische Kultur schaffende Apparat will die Homosexualität von einer schändlichen Sache in eine normale Angelegenheit verwandeln.” Steve Ballmer und Bill Gates hätten beide als Leiter von Microsoft jeweils 100.000 Dollar zur Unterstützung der homosexuellen Ehe gespendet. Sie würden das Internet zu einem Forum zur Verbreitung von Homosexualität umfunktionieren.

In England, den USA und in Kanada würden “jüdische Kapitalisten internationale Literaturpreise vergeben mit dem Thema der Homosexualität.” In Kanada würde deswegen der “Dayne Ogilvie"-Preis und in den USA der “Lambada” Preis vergeben werden. Auch in manchen anderen europäischen Staaten und in Japan würden sogar Filmfestivals zum Thema Homosexualität durchgeführt werden, empört sich Mashreghnews. Oft seien die Helden von Hollywood-Filmen homosexuell, um die Homosexualität weltweit zu verbreiten.

Der US-amerikanische Präsident Barack Obama habe vor seiner Wahl versprochen den Homosexuellen mehr Freiheiten zu geben. Obama habe sogar das Gesetz “Don’t ask, don’t tell", das den Homosexuellen im Militär untersagte, ihre Sexualität zu praktizieren und darüber öffentlich zu sprechen, nur deswegen abgeschafft, um bessere Gewinnchancen bei der nächsten Präsidentschaftswahl 2012 zu bekommen. In Kalifornien würde Homosexualität sogar im Schulunterricht behandelt werden. Auf den “Vorschlag einer jüdischen Universität in Kalifornien sei das Thema der Homosexualität in Schulbüchern eingeführt worden.” Eine jüdische Universität würde auch die Lehrbücher verfassen. Ein solcher Unterricht sei in Kalifornien für alle Schüler Pflicht.

“Erneut spielen die Juden eine Rolle”
Die Zeitung schreibt: “Wie bei den meisten schändlichen Verbrechen, die den Menschen anheimfallen, ist auch hier das jüdische Kapital und das jüdische Humankapital im Dienste der Schaffung einer Kultur zur Verbreitung der Homosexualität, die auf den drei Gebieten der Kunst und Kultur und politischer Propaganda aktiv sind. Zu diesen Aktivitäten gehören die Vergabe von Preisen an Schriftsteller, die Themen wie Homosexualität und die gesellschaftspolitische Solidarität mit dem zionistischen Regime behandeln.” Homosexuelle würden diese Form der Solidarität mit Israel in den europäischen Ländern propagieren. Außerdem sei Tel-Aviv nach Informationen von “Gay City“ die beliebteste Stadt der Homosexuellen auf der Erde.

Mashreghnews schreibt: „Das zionistische Regime ist eines der Förderer der Homosexualität in der Welt und organisiert in verschiedenen Ländern die Demonstrationen der Homosexuellen.” Michael Oren, der israelische Botschafter in den USA, habe gesagt, dass “Israel das Paradies der Homosexuellen” sei.

Mashreghnews zufolge gehört es zu den “teuflischen Zielen der globalen Hegemonialmacht, die Menschen zu unterwerfen.” Die USA würden alle ihre Potentiale nutzen, um die “Natur der Menschen zu ändern, um ein verunstaltetes Wesen ohne Geist und Seele zu schaffen. Dieses Wesen soll nicht protestieren und zahm sein, was ohne die Zersetzung der Familie nicht möglich sei.” Ausgerechnet eine fanatisch-religiöse und den Revolutionsgardisten nahestehende islamistische Zeitung wirft den USA vor die Menschen zähmen zu wollen.

Mashreghnews argumentiert, dass Homosexuelle prinzipiell unterwürfige Menschen seien, die der “unmenschlichen Kultur des Westens im politischen und kulturellen System des Westens am besten dienen.” Diese Zeitung schreibt: “Die neue Weltordnung ist dabei zur Durchsetzung ihrer Interessen überall unter den Völkern spezielle menschliche Kräfte zu erziehen, die vollkommen zahm sind. Diese sollen kein Gefühl dafür haben was Widerstand bedeutet.”

“Das jüdische Kapital unterstützt verschiedene Fronten dieser neuen Weltordnung”
Maschreghnews schreibt: “Die Politiker, die die Homosexuellen unterstützen und die Homosexuellen selbst machen deutlich, dass ein langfristiger und sehr genauer Plan existiert zur Schaffung von untertänigen, zahmen Menschen.”

Das “teuflische System” des Westens würde nicht nur die Homosexualität verbreiten, sondern auch den Feminismus und die Pornographie. Der Artikel der Mashreghnews endet mit dem folgenden Satz: “Viele Experten sind der Meinung, dass die US-amerikanische Regierung mit dem Ziel der Bevölkerungskontrolle in den USA und in der Welt dabei sind Homosexualität zu verbreiten, damit weniger Ehen geschlossen werden und die Geburtenrate in der eigenen Gesellschaft und in anderen Ländern gestört wird.”

Es klingt absurd, dass eine iranische Zeitung der US-Regierung vorwirft Homosexualität zu verbreiten, um eine erfolgreiche Bevölkerungskontrolle durchzuführen. Aber diese Form der Hasspropaganda passt sehr gut in die Sammlung der sonstigen Verschwörungstheorien der iranischen Islamisten: Wenn sie beispielsweise mit Hilfe von Karikaturen die blockfreien Staaten mit antisemitischer und antiamerikanischer Hasspropaganda aufhetzen.
