In the recent earthquake that hit the central part of Italy, many NGOs have been involved in helping out the displaced; one of them is called 'Islamic Relief' and has been criticised various times in the past. In fact, the NGO is known for having invited the anti-Semitic preacher Tareq Suwaidan to Italy, expelled by both Belgium and the United States for his extreme statements.
