The Muslim Brotherhood is silently carrying out its invasion even in Milan’s local election

26 April 2016

EFD Senior Fellow Valentina Colombo compares two Muslim female candidates of the center-left in Milan's local elections, namely Maryan Ismail e Sumaya Abdel Qader.
While the former is a staunch adversary of Islamic extremism, argues Colombo, the latter has an ambiguous role within associations linked to the Muslim Brotherhood - role that she tries to conceal in her official biography. Colombo concludes stating that the Milanese left should be wary of such figures ambiguously linked with political Islamism, empowering instead sincere allies in the fight against extremism such as Maryan Ismail.
