The world’s inaction enabled gas attack

EFD Senior Policy Advisor Magnus Norell writes in Sweden's popular daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet about the international ramifications for the chemical attack launched by the Syrian regime against civilians in the suburbs of Damascus. He believes that an international boundary was crossed, but there are few good options for the outside world to take. It is the lack of resolve on the part of the international community that will allow the Assad regime to act with impunity.
