This article by Deutsche Welle gives account of the publication of EFD’s Practitioner’s Guide to Preventing Radicalisation in Schools. It highlights the need for engagement with the issues raised in the publication, citing the principal of an elementary school from Berlin Neukölln. Having a large proportion of students with a language of origin other than German, "for some children it’s difficult to accept women as authorities or to participate in music lessons, since they feel they’re religion forbids them to do that.”
